Wales v Finland betting preview
Wales welcome Finland to Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday and the game is live on Sky Sports 2 from 6pm.
The Dragons are a top priced 13/10 with William Hill, while Finland can be backed at 5/2 with BetVictor and the draw at 12/5 with Bet365.
Chris Coleman will be hoping that his side can build on their latest performances against Belgium where they secured a draw and a victory against Macedonia.
Finland meanwhile lost 3-0 to France last time and 2-0 to Spain three matches ago, although in between they managed to beat Georgia 1-0.
Wales do find it difficult to score in front of their own fans, as just 2 goals in their last four home internationals proves. Those four were against Macedonia (one goal), Serbia (0-3), Rep of Ireland (0-0) and Croatia (1-2), but Saturday’s opposition look less tough.
We expect Wales to find the back of net a little more easily and a bet on them scoring at a huge 1/3 with William Hill is strongly advised, especially if, as seems likely, Gareth Bale takes to the field. The Real Madrid star has scored 8 goals in his last 13 internationals and he should be backed at the general 4/1 to net first here. Bale can also be backed at a tempting 6/4 with Bet365 to score at any time in the game.
Finland though tend to score goals away from home - in fact that 3-0 defeat in Paris last time was the first occasion in 13 away Internationals that Finland had not scored. Backing 'both teams to score' at 11/10 with Coral is therefore also advised.
Finally it may also be worth siding with Aaron Ramsey in the first goal scorer market - he continues to find the back of the net for Arsenal and Ladbrokes have taken a chance going as big as 9/1.
