Man United v Swansea betting

January 9th, 2014

Swansea return to Old Trafford on Saturday less than a week after winning here 2-1 in the FA Cup third round.

United have lost three consecutive games and another defeat would herald the first time they have lost four in a row throughout a season in over 50 years.

All three of those defeats were by a 2-1 scoreline and Swansea can be backed at odds of 21/1 to win 2-1 again with BetVictor, who also offer odds of 19/5 on Swansea to win in their 'draw no bet' market.

But, before that win here last Sunday, Swansea had only won one of their previous 10 games in all competitions (L6, D3) and bookmakers are confident that United will bounce back to winning ways, with David Moyes' side available at best odds of 8/13 with William Hill, while Swansea can be backed at 11/2 and the draw at 16/5 - both with Bet365.

Danny Welbeck scored twice in the reverse fixture at the Liberty Stadium earlier this season - a game which United won 4-1 and the England forward is 5/1 with Coral and Paddy Power to score first.

Wilfried Bony scored Swansea's goal in that 4-1 defeat and also got the winner here on Sunday - the Ivory Coast striker can be backed at 9/1 to open the scoring and 10/3 to score at any time in the game - both with Coral.
