Northern Trust Open 2015 tips
There looks to be some big each-way value at this week's Northern Trust Open, starting with Aaron Baddeley, who won at the Riviera Country Club four years ago.
The Australian, who has been ticking over nicely in the first months of the season making six of seven cuts, has enjoyed several good weeks at this venue including a top 10 in 2005 and more recently, shares of 11th and 18th places in 2012 and 2014. Stan James are offering odds of 110/1 (just 66/1 with Ladbrokes & Coral).
Sang-Moon Bae is already a winner on this year's Tour having taken the title at the Frys.com Open in October, and he also has a top five and a sixth place to his credit from seven events. The South Korean has played this event twice, tying for 12th place last year and eighth place 12 months earlier. At 80/1 with Betfred and Stan James he's too big.
You can get the same odds of 80/1 on Charlie Beljan, who hit form with his third place finish at last week's Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Beljan lost out in a play-off to John Merrick at Riviera two years ago and went into the final round in second place last year, only to finish down in 12th. Back him with Paddy Power who are offering 6 places for each-way bets.
Finally take a look at Bryce Molder, who finished third at the Frys.com when Bae was the champion. Molder has enjoyed his last three visits to this venue and shared sixth place here 12 months ago. Sky Bet go 175/1 that he'll claim his second PGA Tour victory, or you can get a more realistic 6/1 from Stan James that he bags a third Top 20 finish in four years here (he tied for 21st in the other).
